Anyone have the problem of suddenly garage door opener remote starts going through batteries in a day or two? This is the second remote that has done this, fine for a couple of years, suppose solution is to buy a new one. Purchased 4 pack of 2032 batteries and have used half in the last three days. Checked to make sure battery installed firmly and correctly. Check battery with multi meter and is down volts but not completely drained.

What brand? Do they have two-way communication for code reasons?

I have a Chamberlain with "Purple learn button" and the new remote was cheap enough on ebay. Doesn't chow on batteries.
