I have a few old wifi cameras and I found this cool app that any pda phone into a wifi camera.

So, I need a good way to monitor these cameras when I am not home.

How I monitor security camera footage from the internet?

You'll need to either forward the ports through your router or use a service like logmein, teamviewer to access your home computer to access the cameras.

Do you want live cameras or the ability to rewind? If so, you'd need DVR software.

Do you want to watch live camera action or record the cameras to the internet?

El Jefino is correct you'll need to get into your router and set things up there. It's not a simple thing if you're not router savvy.

Leo,
both, it will be nice to able to record and then view the live stream as needed.

Eljefino,
I like the teamviewer to access my local pc and then view from it.
ok, looking into dvr software...
Thanks,

update:
U guys rock,

Teamviewer is wonderful, I need to tweak connection from outside and do some more testing.

I ended up using iSpy free version and it integrated my Airlink cameras with others.
so I will end up using 3 pda phones as cameras and 2 airlink wifi cameras. it records all those in time lapse.
