We're glad to see that this oil is still in service, because your Avalon barely even noticed the extra 725 miles this

oil was in service compared to the first sample. Only a measly 1 ppm extra iron showed up, and the TBN is still quite

strong at 4.7, showing active additive left (1.0 or less is too low). Insolubles are at an acceptable 0.4%, and no excess

fuel or moisture contamination is present. Run this fill up to an even 10,000 miles and check back without changing the

oil to see how things are holding up. You might go even longer after that. Looks great at 49,212 miles!

Will the oil be in grade for a 20wt in another 2000 mi?

Thanks for posting.

It looks like the TGMO is good stuff, and the hybrid configuration doesn't stress the oil, or that's my interpretation. A lot of highway miles, or...?

I also have a 2013 Avalon Hybrid, 14k and climbing. Got it four months ago with 9500 miles. Immediately changed to the new PP 0w20, and plan to run it to 10k before changing again. It's under extended warranty but as I read the manual 10k on synthetic is fine. Looking at your TGMO report, 10K will be easy peasy.
