These go on the 8th gen Civic, which comes with an oiled air filter from the factory. And since the OEM Honda air filter is oiled, why not make an OE aftermarket equivalent that's oiled, too?
The OE filter has green media, too. Hastings AF1329 is green.
I've seen the Fram CA10165 in green, yellow, and white.
Purolator's A25653 is white.
I know they can't make TG and P1 air filters for every car, but shouldn't they at least make them for OE oiled applications? And the Civic is a very common car too!
