Oak Ridge Tn Trip

Plan on visiting during April. My interest is mostly historical. So I would visit the Museum of Science and History. But I would be interested in general tourist stuff. Since I am traveling from Pa.I would not want to venture much further south or west.

BEAUTIFUL area! Went there quite a while ago - but I'd go again in a heartbeat. Heck, I'd move there.

Strongly recommend the Blue Ridge parkway on the way - it's great! Just don't do it in a 4 cylinder caravan with 4 people and luggage.

I couldn't agree more. Just a gem of a location.

That probably won't work for this time. Maybe later in the year..thanks. We are planning on staying on 81 as much as possible.

Plan on visiting Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg as well since you'll be coming down 81.

We used to race there every spring on the lake. Pretty area.

I live half an hour west of there. It's a great part of the state. Lots of history.
