Thanks for the link.

The info presented is somewhat basic/shallow. Not necessarily wrong, just very rudimentary, but that may be a good start for a novice on the subject. His approach to extended OCI is also rather conservative. I guess he's playing it safe, which is understandable so that he doesn't get sued by someone who blindly follows his advice and develops a lubrication-related issue.

i always hate to see articles that don't differentiate between oil groups, yes group III is legally synthetic but group IV + V real synthetics are still superior, except for cost
