Camry - when to change transmission fluid?

I was curious why people were talking about Dexron III like it was a current fluid - this thread is over ten years old!

Fresh fluid will dissolve gunk that is happily adhered to surfaces in the transmission and put it into circulation and clog stuff up. That's the theory transmission experts have told me. That's the reason I've never changed my ATF.
