Pictures of two Purflux filter elements in use in a Peugeot 1.6 VTi, the one to the right with 15,733 km (9833 miles) and 536 hours of operation and the other with 15,295 km (9560 miles) and I guess a similar amount of time. No defects to report, I am liking this brand more and more.

Great looking filters. Tight even pleats with a cross braced strong center cage for support. Well executed design to increase media area.

NICE! Anywhere these can be purchased other than Renault, Peugeot and Nissan dealerships?

Purflux makes Purflux. I've got a Purflux LS218 in my hand as I type this.

No, I haven't seen them at any other parts store. I have seen them on ebay and mercadolibre but the shipping cost offsets the price difference so I prefer to buy at the dealership.

Allegedly with that design the surface area of the filter media is increased. If your french is good you can get more info on this video.
