I´ve used this coolant mainly because g05 is hard/ very expensive to get in sweden.

But if i look at the msds i find this:

Yuck, what i thought was old gren suitable for wet sleeve diesels looks like its a dex clone. Whats even worse is that this 20 liter can stands in the shop togheter whit the hedeo oils. It aint strange that farmers, truckers and other Heavy Equipment people takes
a can of this and pours it into their diesels...

The coolant we use at work in the Cat and Cummins diesels looks just like Dexcool. Nothing wrong with Dexcool when used in a closed system.

But does Dex have the proper sca's to protect wet liners?

The Dexcool lookalike we use is Delo extended life pre-diluted coolant.

The Delo coolant is designed for Heavy Duty Diesels. Regular'ol Dexcool is not.

Dexcool is used in the Duramax and has a Navistar certification, so it looks like it might be safe for diesels.
