Some years ago (like quite a few), Nissan GTRs "won" Bathurst in a rain drenched race that was called after it became carnage.

Was disappointed with my Countrymen for booing Gentleman Jim Richards, who passed a couple of home truth comments in retaliation.

Watched the last part of the Bathurst 12 hour yesterday,having lost interest in that race ages ago.

Was really really good.




BTW, here's the first skyline win.

As an Englishman it was nice to see a Bentley leading the pack of corvettes and GTRs into the first corner (yes I know it's now German, but I mean badge and heritage - kinda like you view that Italian automaker and it's sub-brands as being American..

Yeah, I nearly made my last point that I wanted that Bentley.
