Hello,
I'm don't know much about oils but I always buy the oil that has the correct specifications for my engine and has the right price.
I got 20 litres of Total 5w40 quartz 9000 energy and going to start to use it for a bargain.
Before I used Castrol 5w40 fully synthetic (But from reading hear it's more or less a blend).
Well my engine is still running great after 470000 km (292k miles).
Should I still just go for specs and the right price oils for great longevity or should I start using the the Castrol Highmilage 5w-40?
It has been running spec oils all this times fully synthetic, would it be wise to change oil now?
I change oil two times a year because I it's my commute vehicle also.
I would appreciate a answer, been thinking about this for a while.
