Nice #'s. Even after 10,200 miles, that oil still had some life left. Was there any make up oil added and what is the sump size?

Nice to see a Ford 3.5 report!

Your aluminum is a little on the high side for that engine, even for the miles run. On the other hand, your copper looks better than average, (speaking specifically for the Ford 3.5) despite running more miles.

Was there any change in air filters between the two reports? Same air filter in place for each sample? What brand air filter? Silicon looks good for the 10k run.

no change in a/f. still the factory original.

I have a similar run with a 2014 model using Kendall GT-1 full synthetic. Every instance is different, but your aluminum and iron numbers are a bit higher. Amsoil SSO is for 25K runs or is that another version? If so, with a TBN that low, it would not have likely made the full 25K.

MILES 47k 26.6k
MILES IN USE 10.2k 8.5k
SILICON 15 22
Parts per 1k mile: 1.5 2.6

This UOA is the proof that air filter is more efficient at the mile piles up, and in the not so dusty environment air filter can be used much longer than 15-20k miles.
Silicon parts per 1k mile: 2.6 at 26.6k mile drops almost by half to 1.5 at 47k mile.
