The proof that quality detergents in sufficient amounts
like PEA in Chevron and others can significantly affect
the cleanliness and ability to maintain like new performance of the fuel system and related parts in the engine like intake valves, piston crowns....

The SAE did a study back in the mid 80s using Chevron PEA detergent and compared to typical PBA detergent gasoline at the time the PEA was significantly better at cleaning carbon deposits and just as importantly PEA (unlike PBA) did NOT leave its own residue behind during the cleaning process in the engine and fuel system.

The Costco station in the city I used to live in was lined up down the street every minute they were open pretty well.

I filled up there a few times, but the wait/craziness got to me, so I stopped. Just couldn't do it after a few times.

The Costco in saskatoon is supplied by shell from what I saw. I watched a shell branded tanker and truck fill the Costco tanks,so it tough to beat in my opinion
