Came from a 2007 kia spectra with 141k. I tore down the engine after a head gasket failure for scrapping / trophies. After seeing how good the bearings look i think i regret it, but after whacking it around taking it apart its too late now.

Yea, those bearings look very good. A testament to motor oil quality. Looks like all that's required nowadays is to replace the valve stem seals in the head to stop consumption (when present) and keep it movin'.

no idea, bought it busted. it would barely crank from lack of compression because of the warped head, all 4 cylinders were drowned in milkshake.

Sure those were original bearings, then?

Bearing failure is practically un-heard of these days unless in a severely neglected engine. After all the crank spins and a film of oil and doesn't touch the bearing for the most part.
