You could just modify your hosts file and get rid of all those ads permanently. You can even find custom hosts files on the Internet that will eliminate almost all ads and other garbage sites-simply copy and paste it into your own.
 
I don't worry much. I haven't gotten a hit on the Windows machine at the office. In any case, I've gotten it on very trusted websites before, and they turned out to be false positives, too.
 
I read your reply and checked mine and it's clean. Bitdefender did it's job well. I'm glad it turned out to be nothing.
