WISDOM FOR THE NEW YEAR

Wouldn't it be great if we could put ourselves in the dryer for ten minutes; come out wrinkle-free and three sizes smaller!

Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven't met yet!

The day the world runs out of wine and chocolate is just too terrible to think about!

I don't trip over things, I do random gravity checks!

I don't need anger management. I need people to stop [censored] me off!

Old age is coming at a really bad time!

When I was a child I thought Nap Time was a punishment ... now, as a grown up, it just feels like a small vacation!

The biggest lie I tell myself is ... "I don't need to write that down, I'll remember it."

Lord grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can & the friends to post my bail when I finally snap!

I don't have gray hair. I have "wisdom highlights". I'm just very wise.

I smile because you are my sister-in-law and laugh because you married my brother!

My people skills are just fine. It's my tolerance to idiots that needs work.

If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would've put them on my knees.

The kids text me "plz" which is shorter than please. I text back "no" which is shorter than "yes".

When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

I've lost my mind and I'm pretty sure my kids took it!

Even duct tape can't fix stupid ... but it can muffle the sound!

Why do I have to press one for English when you're just gonna transfer me to someone I can't understand anyway?

Lord, Give me patience and give it to me NOW.

Of course I talk to myself, sometimes I need expert advice.

At my age "Getting lucky" means walking into a room and remembering what I came in there for.

Awesome.

Are those just the quotes you didn't get to use this year in your ever changing quote space.
I find myself looking for your posts just to see what you've got there this week. Heaven knows though I read the technical stuff you help us with it takes a while for me to digest it and understand the whole picture.

Thanks for your contributions to us here. There are a few members that basically take this complex product we call engine oil, break it down into concepts even I can understand and help us learn on our respective journeys.
Happy New Year Molekule

Happy New Year!

I'm old now and I don't remember how I got here so quickly.

How did I get by without a cell phone?

Or a TV with 3 channels?

Or dialing a phone by spinning a dial.

Or waiting for the car radio to warm up.

And I don't hear a bell ring when I pull into a gas station, any more.

My Doctor no longer recommends Viceroy's anymore.

And even though I have over 200 channels on my TV I still can't find Howdy Doody.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL ....

Radio warming up? the oldest car I ever drove regularly was a 1972 Olds 88. I don't recall that problem.

And I agree strongly with the fact that if God wanted me to touch my toes he would have put them on my knees

You only had to wait for a radio to warm up if it had tubes. If you don't remember waiting you're just a kid. (lol)
