So I have been enjoying my new Kindle Paperwhite, but I have come across a befuddling issue. After having finished a book, I want to "clear furthest page read," so that when I read the book again, the Kindle will keep track of my current reading location.

In my amazon account, under "manage content," I can for each book "clear furthest page read." However, the book remains at the currently last page read, unless I manually return to the beginning of the book . Then the Kindle will again keep track of the "Furthest page read" from the beginning of the book. I found out by accident that I have to return to the beginnning of the book to complete the "Furthest page" reset. Is this the proper procedure, or am I missing something? According to the amazon instructions, I only have to "clear furthest page read." They do not mention that I have to manually return to the beginning of the book.

That there is no way to reset a book on the Kindle itself is pretty preposterous.
