The next issue on the Expedition is the door...

Namely, the part that tells it that it is shut. Driver door.

Now, I have NO idea how this happened, but. Pic:

And, what that makes it do: (With doors closed, and fuse in..)

And what fuse I have to remove/put in for it to stop: (A 5A fuse)
*it is the one between the upside-down blue 15A and the 20A in the middle.

Sooo... How do I make this issue stop?

*it alao sometimes says "Door ajar" and turns them off over what seems like 15MPH. Then they come back on. IF the fuse is in...
It controls the wipers, and defrost...

Drill out the rivets (IIRC, that's what they are) and re-attach it.

Everything seems to be happening at once with this truck when I started cleaning it up and tackling various things on it. This has always been like this on this one, though.

Next up is the sunroof, which is not quite closed, though I manually got it as far as I could with a Torx T25 turn of the motor. Went through a car wash, and... drenched.

The thing that fell off looks like a door check, 6L3Z-1522886-A.

The light staying on is probably from the door ajar switch. There are 2 different ones depending on the assembly date of the vehicle. From 27Feb1999 XF1Z-14018-AA. From 12Dec1997 to 27Feb1999 XF1Z-14018-BA and 1U2Z-14S411-BAA pigtail to make it work due to a design change with an superseded switch.
