No kidding, but point is those tax abatements cost something too. Who pays for the GA tax abatements to Kia? Yes, a pricy plant goes in, but that is capital that the business owns (and depreciates against taxes too), there still is a huge amount of infrastructure, lost revenue, etc. just to have them there.

Again, the taxpayer takes some of this burden, and it isnt necessarily always a "win".

I don't know for sure, but I think entry level jobs start at $14 or $15 an hour, which is decent in the South for someone without a college degree living in a semi-rural area. That would be a McDonald's job up North, but here you can live off that.
 
This is good news. The more companies that move out of states like this serve as positive examples for the free market and less government intervention into your/corprations' pocket books.
