Hogwash. It is entirely true that chemists (even physicists, and as well as engineers) find pathways for reactions, and engineers quite often work details of separations unit operations. Im sure that my chemist and physicist friends who do reactions and catalysis at Honeywell UOP for example would also take objection to the comments.

Its absolutely true that QC labs and such in refineries and other types of industrial applications are staffed with chemists of different types, and that engineers optimize processes for industrial use. it doesn't make what I said wrong, and at the end of the day, the entire discussion is OT compared to the original question and topic of Grp III and low temperature flow.
