I don't see where...

it clearly states "Full-synthetic is not recommended...

I too have that page. However, mine specifically mentions Hondas oil as what is recommended. It goes on to say that full synthetic is not recommended. But thanks for showing me that, reinforces using M1 0W20! Cheers

Not if "full synthetic is not recommended," as per your special owner's manual.

This is going nowhere.

To the OP: You can use whatever oil you want if it meets the grade and certification set by Honda. Whatever 0w-20 oil you choose, change it by the MM.

The owner's manual makes no recommendation regarding synthetic oil, other than to say that it can be used as long as it displays the API seal and is in the correct grade, 0W-20.

The owner's manual makes no recommendation regarding synthetic oil,

Not according to what lawman1909 claims.

They say that for 2014? This is the current lubricant recommendation at Honda dealers:

Granted...that was current in 2013, but every Honda's been on 0W-20 since 2012 (and the CR-V since 2010). In almost all cases, they have listed 0W-20 as "acceptable" in older models that originally recommended 5W-20.

If Lawman's owner's manual differs from the image that you posted, then I'd love for him to provide a photo.
