The tire guys at Kamloops Highland Valley Copper Mine are switching to are
Super Swamper Iroc 36/13.50/19.5 16 ply.
The wheels have a solid outer plate to keep mud away from the brakes.
They all switched to V10 gasoline engines that last 150,000 miles in a very bad
environment. A drop in replacement engine is about $6,500 installed, or about
8% of the cost of a new truck. (5W20)

There was a miner on here a couple years back who was blowing powerstroke motors like crazy but the boss wouldn't go for specialized/ non-stock air filters. He wanted "better oil" but we kept saying it was all the dust getting in.
