I wanted the price to be 39c each quart after rebates, like before O'Reilly bought CSK. I know, I can only dream on.
But the thing is, back then they were probably just dumping the oil as refinery byproduct instead of cracking them for more gasoline, and oil standard was lower. I don't think they can just dump them as group 1 API SL these days.
