Any of you ever hear of Q8 oils??

Hi guys, I know this may be a bit off topic but I'm trying to source a US distributor of Q8 oils. They seem to be primarily available only in Europe... I'm in need of their Schumann VG32 gear oil for some testing here at my day job (military/DOD winch power units with elec gear drives)

I contacted them directly off their website and only got a read receipt but no response.

You can't use any other kind of VG32 gear oil?! There's a million blends out there.

Can you not find any other PAO based gear oils?

Q8 is primarily sold in Europe and the Far East, through their refineries in the Netherlands and Belgium. They don't even have much of a presence here in Kuwait. Try contacting their office in Houston directly on (713) 621-4646.

Thanks Falcon, I'll try that! Yes our gearbox manuf. has specifically suggested this oil to us for cold weather testing... so sadly I need to at least locate a sample before I can move on to anything else.

EDIT: Just called that Houston number, very rude lady and said "we don't sell anything here, call Kuwait!"

Anyway its a syntetic compressor and gear oil.
It is also suitable as a syn hydraulic and vacuum pump oil.
