Oil recommendation for 2011 Quest vq35de

I lurk on a few 350/370Z and Infinity forums,and they all advocate 40 weight oils,saying their VQ's destroy oils. My VG destroys oil as well. Shears everything I put in it within 3000 miles.

I have thought about it, next oil change its getting Mobil 1 0w40.
