Well, I felt some belly discomfort on bumpy road (in addition to some other things) and got diagnosed with diverticulitis.

According to the medical literature, it really should be appendicitis, but I'm not complaining: http://www.medpagetoday.com/EmergencyMedicine/EmergencyMedicine/36536

To be fair, the researchers probably didn't measure the tire pressure for their study. Mine is highish at near 40 PSI, making the test more sensitive, but less specific.

No, no, no...
You have it backwards. The bumps are not causing the ailments, but help diagnose them. You should pay the city for all those diagnostic bumps when you use them.

I see. So it's just a matter of time before they reprogram my toll-tag so that it charges my account every time I go over a bump or a pot hole. Makes sense.

Hmmmm...

Thinking I might open a clinic.

"Mismanaged Road Impact" (MRI)
can be added to
CAT scans (we've got a rescue stray); and
LAB work (we're missing a dog at present, but labs are good).

Seriously 'though, I trust they are treating you OK.
