'97 Camry. Only has a 180 Thermostat? No 195??

heat exchanger may be dirty on the OUTSUDE - doesn't take much mouse nest trees fuzz and pine needles to clog 'er up. Also water pump impellers are toast after 100K.
 
Here's what I'm doing, in order until I get heat:

1) Check cables/diverter behind the dash.

2) Check heat exchanger.

3) Check water pump replacement date/miles (Think it was 1.5 years ago).

4) Replace Thermostat.

5) Heater Core.

Hope to stop by #4, but we'll see!

Grab live data and see the actual water temperature measured by the engine computer.

I don't know if Toyota has a valve in the inlet water hose (Hondas do) and see if that is all the way to the open position. If it is there, it will be near the firewall.
