I like CLP. I also like WD40. I used to wipe my shotgun down with it before duckhunting in brackish water, it worked very well. Also, my patrol shotgun sat in my trunk 24/7 in Louisiana....very humid. WD40 wipedowns every two weeks and she was GTG (REM 870). If you can get it military LSA lube works very well. I used to wipe down a blued SIG 220 with it every few days. That SiG liked to rust, and the LSA put that issue to bed. My favorite rust prevention is a stainless steel weapon, or a GLOCK. They really got that one right the first time, and my SR9C has yet to rust despite staying in my glove box for months.
