Lubro-Moly Mos2 Antifriction Treatment

I've tried in my wet clutch bike (Kawa ZX7R) a good dose of 150 ml Molycote and M1 engine oil 5w40 and the problem was those ring synchronizers at tranny weren't a good gear break anymore ... It gave some hard clunk and beating teeth at every shifting, after the engine was fully warmed up. and the clutch has slipped somtimes even shaking, also. So if you want to use, make a really low concentration of MoS2.

OK. I figured I'd drag up this nearly 2 year old thread after reading all of it. Do most members still hold MoS2 in high regard? Looking to give this a shot to quiet down the noisy 3.6L Pentastar start up. Love the car and the engine so far, just can't get over the start up noise. TIA for your input.

I'm not an expert, but if you use a quality certified oil there is no use for snake oils/oil supplements. There are a few on bitog that love MOS2, but most recommend going with a quality oil. Just me two cents!

Respectfully,

Pajero
