My wife is getting new skills, and doing a mid life career adjustment, and working with special needs kids in schools.

Overheard yesterday one of the disliked male teachers (he's a bully, purposely belittling and marking the males wrong...20 ticks get "18/20, please try harder next time")...uses a whistle to get attention...in a bus..

Playground yesterday, some grade 5/6 kids were talking about their parents' tyre purchase...$1,000 for a set of 4 is about average around here.

He pipes up "I've never spent more than $100 for a tyre in my life.

11 year old boy quips back "but your car's a [removed]"

Guess you can only belittle kids for so long before they learn your mettle.
