Before I go to the dealer and find out how, thought I'd ask here first.

2014 Civic EX-L w/1.8l engine and CVT - how do I:
1. check the CVT fluid level?
2. drain/add CVT fluid?

The owner's manual just says to take it to the dealer to have the oil level checked.

That helps for my other car, which is a Accord. But the Civic is much different.

Oh, and there is actually not a dipstick for the accord, that is just a handle for the rubber plug to get it out easier.

From this article I think what I need to do is remove a bolt, and just see if the level is at the bottom of the hole. But not sure yet.

Let us know how the dealer did the level check so the question will be answered.
Does the dealer charge to check the fluid level?

Don't know if they charge, but my neighbor is a Honda mechanic. I'll bring it to him next week and find out. Will let everyone know.
