Fines are normally handed out on the Tuesday after a race. Harvick was the one who threw the gas on the smoldering fire...like the coward on the play ground who starts a big fight, and then runs. I was surprised there wasn't a NASCAR official at Gordon's car when it stopped telling him to keep moving. He had no reason to be stopping on pit lane since he wasn't in the top 5 finishing cars. They would have had ample warning since his crew was waiting, there had to have been radio communication that they should have been monitoring.
