Ecogard X4610 - 2004 Honda CRV

I pulled this Ecogard filter off my aunt's 2004 Honda CRV 2.4L when I changed her oil. The sticker from the oil change place said this had been in use for about 5000 miles.

It seemed like an okay filter. The media looked decent, but the ADBV was hard as a rock and the filter said "Made in China" on it.

I replaced this filter with a Napa Gold 7356.

Rock hard ADBV only after 5000 miles means very low grade rubber.

I have no idea who makes the filter. As far as 5000 miles that was my best guess judging by the oil change sticker on my aunt's windshield. It could have easily been on there for 7,000+ miles.

It sure isn't something I would put on a vehicle.
