got a 07 yukon, check engine light has been on for about a month now, at first i thought it was the gas cap, but the light has never went off so its not the cap, past few days the car is starting to idle low and hesitate at low speeds, what could be the problem ?

my wifes 04 throws that code often.theres a vent valve back by the gas tank.it has a foam filter on it and that foam filter fills up with dirt.
just take the foam filter out,clean and put it back in.its real easy,like 5 minutes.

There is a revised canister vent that is often/usually associated with this code. You may also need a jumper harness that is sold separately. Total, you are looking at around $135 for both parts, though you can probably find them online for less.
I believe there is only one part number for the vent kit and one part number for the harness across all GMT900s, but if you PM me the last 8 digits of your VIN, I can give you part numbers for your vehicle.
