Some one ought to tell your engine that the oil that you are using is "obsolete"...it seems to like it.

I also use PU (now it's technically PUP) in my S2000 and am pleased with the results. Even though the difference is splitting hairs, a lot of research on this site convinced me this is likely the best [readily available] synthetic out there.

wow your a lucky man, I wish I knew how to drive a manual (no intention to learn now) because if I did I would buy a Honda, I absolutely hate their automatic transmissions.

01_celica_GT, it's not about luck. I really wanted to learn ... so I bought a standard-shift car in the 80s and have never looked back.

S2000s only came with a 6-speed manual. Makes for a great performance car but might've hampered their commercial success.

Yes, it did shear slightly out of grade. Was it 5w30 or 10w30? Next time, try PU or PUP 10w30. Honda specified 10w30 for the S2000 engine in the manual.
