Daughter is moving there next weekend, and I need some recommendations, please. She has a 2013 Camry SE with 215/55-17 wheels.

If the link doesn't work, google Hunter GSP9700 and use the locator function. I don't drive on tires not balanced with this technology. Usually just marginally more expensive that the shops with the old school beat up Coats machine.

Not trying to start a Roadforce balancer vs. traditional debate here...

I happily recommend Discount Tire to anyone who asks. Been buying tires from them since 1998 and have never had a bad experience. They have shops all over the area.

Buy tires from them and get free rotation & balance every 6 months or 6000 miles and free repairs as needed for the life of the tire.

Buy replacement certification from them for $15 to $20 per tire when you buy the tires and they'll replace any tire for any reason for the life of the tire.

The people are always friendly and helpful.

Anyway, that's been my experience with them.

Good luck!

We don't have Discount Tire here in my area but, I have dealt with Discount Tire Direct(online Only) and am very happy. If you have a Discount Tire Store in the Houston area, I understand that they are very good and I read lots of good reviews from many happy customers.

There are about 70 Discount Tire stores in the Houston area, maybe more.

Here's an example of the treatment we've come to expect from them. A couple of years ago, just after Christmas, my wife was driving her visiting sister around shopping when her tpms went off telling her she had a low tire. She called me and I directed her to the nearest Discount Tire shop, about half a mile away. When she pulled in to the parking lot the tire was flat.

One of the guys came out and took a look, got her info, escorted them into the waiting area and got them some coffee. After a few minutes he reported that the tire had picked up a nail and was unrepairable. However, we had bought the tires from another Discount Tire with replacement Certs and it was all in their computer. They had a new one on the shelf to replace the bad one and in a total of about 30 minutes had her back on the road at no cost.

They're just a great company to do business with.
