I just bought a new 2015 Mazda 6 with skyactive technology and I am looking for a recommendation for a good syn oil for it. The stock oil is syn with Molly in it but I would like your opinions on something I could buy at Pepboys or Nappa.. Thanks

Napa has a 0w20 synthetic that goes on sale for 3.49-3.79/qt pretty regularly. Pretty much identical to Synpower.

If not mistaken, Mazda recommends 0w20. You would be hard pressed to find a poor 0w20 oil. If moly is important to you, go with a SOPUS oil: Quaker State Ultimate Durability, Pennzoil Platinum. If not, Mobil1 and EDGE have some moly as well. But even Valvoline Synpower would be excellent with its Sodium based addv pkg. They, and others, would suit your needs quite nicely and can be found at the establishments you mentioned.

There's your winner.

I have been running Quaker State Ultimate Durability in 2014 Mazda 6 with no issues in 14,000 miles.
