Oil Recommendation: 1997 Mazda Protege 1.8L DOCH

They do sell oil in the U.S., but the Parent company is Honeywell, which owns Fram primarily known for oil and air filters. The oil is badged as "Fram Synthetic Oil" and is blended by the same company that makes MAG1 IIRC...

Not Mag1, but Conoco-Philips that makes Ford Motorcraft and Kendell oil...

So this could be the same as the motorcraft oil, just cheaper and in a different jug?

I would have no idea, but it is possible Conoco-Philips blends it...
