When to buy sprinkler parts

I'm overhauling my sprinkler system. My designs are complete and I know exactly what parts I am buying. The total cost of replacement parts comes to ~$300.

But since I am in no rush to change the system now that summer is over (and fingers crossed we will get enough rain here), I'm wondering if there is any time of the year when these parts are reduced in price because the demand is so low.

Any thoughts how long I should wait to pull the trigger?

The drought situation could go on for a while. We would need record rains in the next six months or so to end it.

Since this overhaul will save water, I will be putting it in before the next watering season.
