My old 99 Caravan has an automate remote start system which has always given trouble. It freaked out the other day resulting in a no start condition so I have started removing every part of it I can. This is probably not a good idea as I don't really know what I am doing but the van has one foot in the grave already.
At the moment when I turn the key on, the auto shut down really under the hood clicks repeatedly. It will start and immediately die. Is anyone familiar with where the ASR gets it's signal to keep the engine running? Anyone dealt with this before? Probably something I have messed up. This is just a shot in the dark.
