Mobil 1 Highmilage 10w-30 lifter noise

The big 460 in my '97 Ford F-250HD loves Mobil 1 HM 5W30. Super quiet on startup. I'm using it for the added zinc.

That said, I run Pennzoil Platinum in my other 3 vehicles, and all 3 are super quiet on startup.

If you're planning on staying with synthetic, try Pennzoil Platinum.

Not much reason to purchase the Mobil 1 HM 10w30 when the Mobil 1 HM 5w30 is right next to it on the shelf. Save the Mobil 1 HM 10w30 for air cooled small engines.

I have lifter noise on start-up with my 4.0L Ranger running Mobil 5K 5W30 with a GOLD filter , A few different filters did not stop it , Next up will be a different oil.
