Hi i finally manage to cut open this small Nippon Micro oil filter, took me 1 over hr to hack saw it through.

Nippon Micro
Model: T8306
Anti-Drainback Valve
Bypass Valve set at 14 PSI
OD: 68
Length: 85
Measure Filter Mat: 1580

Interesting thing is i found another spring loaded valve. Its pretty soft, could be easily depress by finger. What do you guys make of this double spring load valve? Any function?

Nope, it's the first time i see a second spring loaded valve in an oil filter. So as any good BITOGer, i cut it open.
Just wondering is there any function or purpose to it? Anti-drain? Holding pre-charge load of oil before use?

I just trying to find out what the function of the second check valve? preload charge?
But after using it, the oil pressure light seem to goes out much faster, almost instantly compare to the orginal Honda filter.

Is it front mounted?
Environmental concerns are addressed. A front mounted BPV OR an extra valve(w/rear mounted BPV) prevents filter spillage during removal. Less oil spillage during removal=more oil recycled from the filter when the filter is recycled.
