please do 20k miles and report back, I will buy and use Amsoil if your car can do 20k miles!

I will obviously do a UOA @ 20k to verify, I'm sure my engine won't explode...

The oil level dropped about 3 mm.

The Sonata LTD.

The Sonata GL is due too but I think of running the oil till 20 000miles--- 30 000 kms.
Amsoil Signature 0W20 + 1 q of Amsoil 5W30.

Not bad at all. I'm sure the Na was from previous oil unless amsoil has some in it.

Nice report - thanks for posting - the Amsoil looks very stout. How long was the OCI duration - months? What type of driving & conditions were experienced - highway% - short trip% - temperature range? Also - sump capacity?

About 70% highway driving ...35 kms one way- 70 to 80 kms daily....sump- 4.5 lt.....oil in for 14 months throu one very bad winter in Canada.

24000 kms in 14 months.

Most times oil temp was at 190 F.

[censored] good report, I just sent in an oil sample from my Honda CRV with amsoil dual bypass setup running 5w20 signature... the sample only has 5000km on it, next sample will be at 10k or 15k, and then another 10 or 20k after that... will post it up when I get it!
