No more Castrol Edge gold bottles?

Sorry to resurrect this old thread but I wanted to know if the current Edge Extended Performance (Gold) is the exact same product as the slightly older Edge w/ Titanium Technology (Gold) or did the formula change with the bottle?

Castrol should have called the black bottle Syntec and the gold bottle Edge or else Edge Black and Edge Gold....what they did was very confusing, IMO.

I'm not sure as to formula changes, but I just drained the Edge EP (gold) frankenbrew I had in car for this summer, 4qts 5w-20, 1qt 10w-30, 1/2qt GC.
I guess i can see why people are confused with the Castrol marketing, but just my opinion, I think its getting better.
Seems they want one name like Mobil 1, Edge gold bottle is just like M1 EP & says 15k on bottle also.
Mobil 1 similar to Edge.
Mobil 1 EP similar to Edge EP (gold).
Mobil 1 Euro formula similar to Edge Euro formula.
Now all they have to do is start marketing 0W oils as for fuel efficiency, Mobil 1 AFE
