Laboratory Comments:

Dean,

Flagged data does not indicate an immediate need for maintenance action. Continue to observe the trend and

monitor equipment and fluid conditions. Base Number is MODERATELY LOW. Abrasives (silicon/dirt) are at a MINOR

LEVEL; Infrared results indicate beginning lube oxidation;

Oil analysis performed by Roktex.

Looks great - what kind of driving does this Kia see? Any makeup oil added during the 15k km run? Sump size? Thanks for posting.

It see's a mixture of short and long distance driving. Short trips consist of dropping the kids at school and going to the shops. Doesn't sit in traffic much though (I don't live in the city). Long trips consist of freeway driving, 110km/h for about an hour. The car is always garaged too. Sump capacity is 4.5L and no make-up oil was added.
