does exide stil make the orbital?

i dont like exides wet batteries.but i had an orbital,made in spain that outlasted its 84 month warranty.very rare to have that here.

id like to buy another one when my currant battery dies.

This is my experience:

In the recent past, I have had many batteries that outlasted their month rating. Some by a few months and others by as much as a couple of years in fact!

But lately, the new(er) batteries are ONLY making it to the rated months, if that!

And too, I have noticed these newer batteries ARE NOT even listing a month rating(i.e., 60mo, 72mo, 84mo) on them anymore, only their rated power!

No they don't.After Exide's 2nd bankruptcy (due to the feds closing their California lead plant,a site they never cleaned up)they dropped the orbital and changed to cheaper flat plate AGMs claiming superiority of more surface area.Still expensive though,$200-300.

I hate my Exide, and there warranty policy.
If I could find the charge on my online statement, I'd try to get my money back.
