I am doing that on my Dodge. I have three months to go. I ran the Microguard ecore for 6 months, changed it last June. No problems with the ecore so I am sure the Wix one be fine as well.

That is exactly the kind of use they are designed for, although I believe they are easily capable of longer intervals within reason.
