noise after front end work

Here's what I do to load the suspension at ride height. With the car on the stands and both wheels off, put your floor jack with a wood block under the rotor of the side you are tightening. Lift up that side of the car, compressing the spring, until the car just starts to lift off the stand on that side. If you previously tightened to torque, loosen the bolts. Retighten to specs or as close as you can come. Many times a torque wrench won't fit. Try educating your arm with the wrench that fits on the fastener on a torque wrench to get a feel of what 130ft/lbs feels like. You may want to use blue locktight or new self-locking nuts if your car calls for it.
Not doing final tightening at ride height is a sure way for your new control arms to wear out the bushings way quicker than the originals.
