Tire nubs

My General RT43's came today, and they look great! I happened to notice a nub left on a tread block tho. I measured 4/32's tall by 3/32's diam. I presume no good reason to leave it, and plenty to remove it. It might come off on its own, but why not clip it off, I'm thinking.

Even more explanation:

That is a missing vent plug.

Notice that all the other tread elements have little round flash marks in the same location. That round mark is the result of a mushroom shaped valve that closes when the rubber contacts it.

There is one missing and the rubber filled the hole where that vent is normally.

Nothing to worry about, it will wear off on its own. But if you want to cut it off, feel free to do so.
