Shell Helix Ultra

According to the Sept. 2014 issue of TLT (by the S.T.L.E.) Shell Helix Ultra is now being marketed, using their GTL (PurePlus) base oil and ECT cleaning system.

I have no idea as to which regions or countries are being targeted, but I have not seen it in the midwest.

Not seen in the southeast either. Isn't the helix comparable to the Ultra?

Australia for sure, as it was one my favs there.. Different marketing for the same oil worldwide

Yeah I've seen it down here at a few places, mainly in the form of 5W40.
Helix below the ultra are more of a budget spec, just grabbed 2 bottles of 10w40 helix for $16 each

I have noticed that the Helix labels has changed in Germany and in Denmark. In Germany the label says: "MOTORÖL AUF BASIS VON SYNTHESETECHNOLOGIE" which indicates, as far as I know, that this product is classified as hydro cracked mineral oil.

I should have said, "I haven't this packaging in the midwest."
